We publish today the letter from Theresa Mallett, patient harmed by neurosurgon Sam Eljamel. The letter, dated 18th July, is in response to a letter by Humza Yousaf, First Minister of Scotland, and a letter by NHS Tayside. These were received after Humza Yousaf had visitied Theresa’s home.
This is a redacted copy of the full response from Theresa and includes both letters from Humza and NHS Tayside in redacted forms where necessary. Note: ‘Mark’ is not the real name of the person from NHS Tayside.
The Patients’ Action Group seeking a Public Inquiry into Eljamel and NHS Tayside helped Theresa respond to these letters.
